  • Tim Sonnex MRICS, Director

    Tim has been working in the property industry for 30 years, the past 15 of which have been concentrated on the occupier side of the business. He is a general practice surveyor, providing a full range of property advice and dealing in a wide variety of properties throughout the UK and internationally, both for major surveying practices supporting clients and as an internal resource, leading teams within an occupier organisation. In addition to general real estate advice, Tim has key experience in facilities management, project management and energy management.

    Tim has worked for corporate occupiers, public sector bodies and charities and key clients and employers have included: Phillips Electronics; Her Majesty’s Courts Service; The National Lottery; Equiniti; Bank of Ireland and ICI.

    Outside of work, Tim likes to travel; to participate in endurance events, raising money for good causes and to spend time with his new running partner, a young Labrador with boundless energy!


    Andrew Tice MRICS, Consultant

    Andrew is a general practice Chartered Surveyor with 17 years’ property experience having held client-side, consultancy and development advisory roles.

    Andrew spent 12 years at King Sturge (now Jones Lang Lasalle) as a Partner in the Consultancy team but also a Director of the Financial Services team which was FSA regulated. He has a deep knowledge of the development sector having advised on all asset classes and mixed use regeneration schemes, negotiated development agreements, S.106 agreements, advised on planning consents and conducted complex viability assessments.  He has also advised on the establishment of joint ventures between the public and private sectors as well as developing and implementing occupier strategies to realise operational savings and efficiencies. Andrew’s clients have included Lend Lease, John Laing, Cambridgeshire Horizons, DEFRA, LB Hammersmith & Fulham, OFSTED and HMCS.

    In 2011 Andrew joined Ernst & Young, one of the largest professional service firms in the world with 167,000 employees in more than 140 countries. There are four global service lines; he sat within Advisory Services and specifically the Performance Improvement service line. He led a broad range of projects which included the running of OJEU procurement processes for office redevelopment, back office relocation for a global investment bank and a real estate audit for a Middle Eastern Sovereign Wealth Fund.

    Most recently he led the commercial office for a property company based on the South Coast. His role was to generate added value and improve income from the estate through redevelopment opportunities whilst also leading commercial dealings across the estate. Projects included the redevelopment of property for residential, care and student accommodation uses as well as managing a significant reversionary estate and the letting of commercial premises.

    He has a broad range of experience as well as specific development expertise and is flexible and creative in his approach having advised on a wide spectrum of projects for private and public sector organisations as well acting as principal for a private property company.
